The location was fine. Walking distance to many places. The owners communicated quickly.
Where do I begin? There was no A/C which might have been fine, except there were no fans to circulate air. Opening windows wasn't an option at night because there was no was to keep the bugs out or the noise from the very busy street. The first night, even with the windows closed tight, we heard at least 5 ambulances go by. Our room was typically 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit in the early mornings. When I asked if there was abrotary fan available for use, the owner brought over 2 brand new unipened boxes with fans to be assembled. Well, I did not expect I'd have to assemble fans, but we opened one box to try. No assembly tools inside. Informed the owner and he said he'd come by the next day to assemble. As we only had 1 more night, this seemed useless to us, so we told him never mind.
Although there were 2 bathrooms, only one had a true shower, but we could never get anything but ice cold water from it no matter what we did. The other bathroom has a very high bathtub which is difficult to get in and out of if you are older or disabled. But it provided some warm water according to my daughter. She was the only one who could get in and out of it.
Don't walk on the floors with just socks. They will be black on the bottom in no time.
Last, but not least, there was the ant infestation throughout the apartment. They were in the kitchen, the dining room, the 2nd bedroom and bathroom, and the sleeper sofa room. We could not leave luggage open as the ants were crawling all over the floors, the walls, and the luggage. We informed the owners of the ants when we asked about fans. I'm not sure if they attempted to do anything about them, but if they did try, it didn’t work. I was not only disappointed in this place, but angry that I was paying this much for these types of conditions. Stay away from this one.

A great location and helpful host, but the apartment itself was dirty, smelled of sewage.
The location was perfect, the balcony was nice, and Francesco was invaluable, giving us good advice during our stay.
We stayed at this apartment and were extremely disappointed.
The entire place had a strong sewage smell, and it was not clean at all. There was nowhere to hang clothes, and with three people, we had to share one small wardrobe. Most of the furniture and shelves were full of the owner’s personal belongings, leaving almost no space for guests. There were also many cracks in the walls, which made the apartment look poorly maintained.
Definitely not worth the price and not what was shown in the photos. Would not recommend staying here.

Baufällig und den Preis leider nicht wert
Die Dachterrasse ist großartig. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral und man erreicht viele Ziele in Rom fußläufig.
Sehr viel:
• Die Küche war sehr schmutzig. Mobiliar aufgequollen. Töpfe nicht verwendbar, da schmutzig. In den Küchenschränken klebrige und fettige Verschmutzungen. Steckdosen lose in der Wand; bei Benutzung Gefahr des Stromschlags.
• Im Badezimmer Schimmel am Wannenrand. Großes Loch in der Decke über dem WC. Stromanschluss der Waschmaschine lebensgefährlich (mit zwei ineinander gesteckten Verlängerungskabeln, die auf dem Boden lagen (Stolpergefahr und Gefahr des Stromschlags, da nicht feuchtraumgeeignet)). Therme mit lose verlaufenden und nicht gesicherten Schläuchen. Wand unter der Therme aufgebrochen.
• Schlafcouch: Holz gebrochen, Polster zerrissen, Kissen sehr dreckig (Blutflecken?).
• Die Heizkörper waren dreckig und verrostet
• Bei der Tür zum Schlafzimmer ist Farbe abgeblättert
• Im Esszimmer waren die Polster aller Stühle verschmutzt. Die Wände haben Risse. Eine Verteilerdose mit offenen Kabeln.
• Zugang zum 2. Schlafzimmer war nur durch einen ca. 1,40 Meter hohen Kleiderschrank möglich, so dass man nur in gebückter Haltung (Gefahr, sich den Kopf zu stoßen) zum Schlafzimmer und zum 2. Badezimmer gehen konnte, da auch dies hinter dem Kleiderschrank verborgen war. Da der Kleiderschrank als Durchgang diente, war er selbstverständlich nicht mehr in seiner eigentlichen Funktion nutzbar. Rollo nicht benutzbar; wir mussten das Fenster zur Verdunklung mit einer Tagesdecke verhängen.
• Dachterrasse: Liegestuhl bereits am zweiten Tag gebrochen. Trotz unverzüglicher Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter wurde hier nichts repariert oder getauscht, so dass für vier Personen lediglich ein Liegestuhl zur Verfügung stand.
• Es standen zwei Ventilatoren zur Verfügung. Allerdings mussten diese von uns montiert werden. Offensichtlich wurden die Kartons mit den Ventilatoren kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt vom Vermieter bereitgestellt.
• Bis auf einen kleinen Kleiderschrank im Flur (für vier Personen) waren sämtliche Schränke voll mit persönlichen Dingen des Vermieters.
