A very nice little apartment, very well decorated. It was clean and homely. In an area with locals and not too far from the city. They also have a clean drinking water.
Showers and toilet facilities could do with an improvement. I think it’s an issue all over Phillipines. It wasn’t major however I think pumps were pumping out brown water but it was fine after you let it run for a bit.

The apartment is quite spacious and reasonably priced for the El Nido area; however, the standard is lower than what the photos suggest. There is air conditioning – old, but functioning. The WiFi is very slow and often not working at all, and since there is no mobile signal in this area, WiFi is essential here. We missed having a fridge and a hair dryer.
Communication with the staff was good: they explained clearly how to get to the place and the check-in process. Messages were answered quickly, although responses to our actual needs were delayed. The water pressure in the sink was very weak. The most challenging issue, however, was the power and water outages and the lack of any contingency plan. Coming back to a dark, overheated apartment after a full day of diving and facing the prospect of a night without a shower is not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the staff were unable to help resolve this issue.
It is also worth mentioning that the bathroom does not have a shower cabin and is very small, so you essentially shower in the toilet, flooding the entire bathroom with water. But someone might enjoy the idea of showering and using the toilet at the same time ;)
Additionally, please note that the stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow. Thankfully, we were traveling with backpacks — I’m not sure it would have been possible to get up there with suitcases.
