Terrible customer service sums it up. I understand that maintenance issues happen, but ignoring them is unacceptable.
It was convenient to where we needed to be. Adequate space.
Poorly maintained. Toilets broke, washer dryer didn’t work, air conditioning didn’t work and the property manager/owner did not respond to calls/messages.
We contacted customer service. The property didn’t deny our claims. But in their answer to booking.com they accused us of smoking on the property. Patently false, we are a very strict non smoking family.

Misleading listing with serious issues — not worth the high price paid.
Location
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Before booking, I contacted the host due to the previous guest’s negative experience to confirm everything was in order. He replied that the previous guest had simply had “very bad luck” and assured me the issues were resolved.
Upon arrival, we encountered a serious plumbing problem: every time the toilet was flushed, water rose through the shower drain, making that bathroom unusable for most of our stay. We were six guests and paid a high price specifically for a property with two bathrooms, which was a deciding factor for our booking.
Before arrival, we were provided with contact details for both the owner and the property manager. However, when the issue was reported, neither responded for over 25 hours. A solution was only offered when the stay was nearly over, which was not meaningful at that stage.
Additionally, the house shows a lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and proper equipment, including poor-quality and dirty cookware, missing basic kitchen and laundry essentials, and random unrelated items left in the property.
When I requested a fair and appropriate compensation, the host stopped responding altogether. Booking.com later requested compensation from the host as well, which he refused.
Overall, the property did not match what was advertised or what we paid for.

Condiciones insalubres y falta total de mantenimiento
La ubicación
Este alojamiento es una casa vieja, sin mantenimiento y en condiciones inaceptables. Desde el primer día quedó claro que no fue revisada antes de rentarse.
Al llegar, no funcionaban las luces de la sala ni del pasillo, la calefacción del cuarto principal no servía y estábamos a 13 °C, lo cual fue totalmente inapropiado. La casa huele fuertemente a humedad, un olor permanente y desagradable que hace evidente la falta de mantenimiento.
La cocina estaba mal equipada: solo había un plato sopero para una casa rentada para 6 personas, no había trapos para secar, toallas de mano, tapetes de baño ni trapeador, el sartén estaba viejo y en muy mal estado. Claramente colocan cosas de relleno, no lo básico para una estancia normal.
Lo más grave y totalmente inaceptable fue el problema del drenaje y la fosa séptica. El baño principal no jalaba, estaba tapado y todas las noches el drenaje se regresaba y salía por la regadera agua negra, algo antihigiénico, repugnante y peligroso para la salud.
Ese baño no pudo usarse durante toda la estancia, obligando a 6 personas a compartir un solo baño, lo cual es completamente inaceptable.
El anfitrión fue irresponsable y poco profesional. No contestaba, prometía enviar ayuda y no cumplía. Incluso me pasó el teléfono de su trabajador para que yo me coordinara, como si en mis vacaciones yo tuviera que hacerme cargo del mantenimiento de una propiedad ajena.
Solicité la cancelación y el reembolso desde el día siguiente a mi llegada, pidiendo que solo se me cobraran las noches usadas, pero no recibí solución. Booking únicamente respondía que no lograba localizar al propietario, dejándonos totalmente desprotegidos como huéspedes.
Al final, el anfitrión solo llevó algunos utensilios y un calentador portátil, pero el problema del drenaje nunca se resolvió. El plomero apareció el último día por la tarde, cuando ya estábamos por salir.
Fue una estancia deplorable, con condiciones insalubres, que arruinó completamente nuestras vacaciones.
