I loved the house . It is spacious , family friendly and it was spotless . The communication with the host was really clear and effortless .
I didn’t like the fact that we stayed only for one night !!! We will be coming again in the summertime !

The property’s size and location were absolutely spot-on for our Scottish road trip!
They also went above and beyond, helping us find the place and giving us super useful info!
The lighting of the entrance may have been a little dimmer maybe new lights would help but that didn’t really bother us much.

The house is in a great location, a short drive from Edinburgh centre and the park and ride / bus stops. It is well priced for the area and the information provided by the owner was useful in advance of arrival. The property is generally well furnished and clean, but describing it as luxury is going a bit far!! There were some scribbles on the wall in the living room and missing doors on some furniture. Overall, this didn’t make the best impression.
The house was very cold when we arrived in the evening as there was no heating on. The beds were cold and felt damp because of this. Because of the size of the house, it didn’t warm up until the morning and the upstairs room remained very cold. Every other cottage we’ve stayed in has been warm because the heating has been put on in advance of our arrival. There was coal for the fire, but no fire lighters, paper or wood to light it. Generally disappointing.
