So I really wanted to give this place five stars. Its location for the area was ideal, and the private room was excellent. Also, the check in process was perfect; however, the shared bathroom situation was a bit off-putting.
Now, I’ve stayed at many locations with shared bathrooms so that wasn’t the issue. The issue was that one of bathroom’s door didn’t quite lock. It seemed as if it did from the inside, but the lock was actually barely in the slot. On one occasion while I was sitting on the toilet another guest walked in on me… I’m afraid that Japanese tourist has been traumatized for life.

It was okay for short term stay. Note that the number of bathrooms are limited and shared co-ed. My room was clean and was worth the price I paid.
