Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting along the Namekagon River, Kagon Kabin is designed for guests who want both adventure and relaxation. Spend the day cross-country skiing the American Birkebeiner Trail, mountain biking the area`s renowned trail system, hiking through the woods, or paddling the river. Then come home to a cozy Scandinavian-inspired retreat, light a fire, and settle in as the river flows by.
Located just minutes from downtown Hayward, the Hatchery Creek Trailhead, and the American Birkebeiner Ski & Mountain Bike Trail, Kagon Kabin is an ideal home base for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking for a peaceful Northwoods getaway.
Whether you`re here for a Birkie weekend, mountain biking trip, family vacation, friends` getaway, romantic escape, or simply a few quiet days in the woods, Kagon Kabin makes it easy to enjoy everything the Hayward area has to offer.

Curl up with a book in the dedicated reading nook. Gather around the fireplace after a day outdoors. Cook dinner together in the fully stocked kitchen. Or simply sit by the windows and watch the woods and river change with the seasons.
Kagon Kabin comfortably accommodates your group with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with inviting spaces to gather and plenty of room to find a quiet moment of your own.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened porch while listening to the river. Spend an afternoon kayaking. Gather around the outdoor fire pit in the evening with firewood provided.

Important Information:
A $500 refundable damage deposit is required for all reservations. The deposit is securely held on your credit card by a trusted third-party payment processor and is not charged upfront. The hold will be released five days after checkout, provided there are no damages or house rule violations.
For safety and guest verification, the primary guest must provide a photo of a valid government-issued ID during the online check-in process.
For security purposes, a Ring camera is installed at the home`s main exterior entrance. It records video and provides a live feed of the entrance only. There are no interior cameras or recording devices inside the cabin.

-No bikes or skis allowed inside the home
-Check-in after 4:00pm
-Checkout before 11:00am
-Must be 25 years old to book
-6 adults maximum + 2 kids
-Quiet hours 10:00pm - 7:00am
-Do not move furniture
-No parties or events
-No additional guests that are not registered on your booking allowed
-The security camera will catch any guests or pets that are not registered in your reservation
-No tampering with or covering the security camera
-No smoking on premise
-No pets without paying pet fee/approval
-No fireworks
-Never leave fires unattended
-Turn off propane to grill and fire table when done using
-Do not put food down the sink; we do NOT have a garbage disposal
-Do not flush anything besides toilet paper
-Be bear aware! Do not leave food or trash outside
FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:
-Pets must remain on leash/tie out at all times when outside
-Pet are not allowed on ANY furniture in the home (couches, beds, chairs, porch furniture, etc.)
-Pets must be in a crate/kennel if left alone at the home
-Guests are responsible for following all local pet laws
-Pick up after your pet and dispose in the dumpster at the end of the driveway
