There was no airport shuttle offered. Check in was very very slow. We had to ask twice for them to get another person to help with the line. We got room 12 which was right next to the lobby. We paid for a double room with partial ocean view. This room was the worst in the hotel and no ocean view unless you leaned out over the railing of the balcony you could see a sliver of ocean.
Glenda the manager suggested we move to a king room and pay extra per night but instead we saw online that there was another double available on the second floor and asked to move there for the same price per night. She moved us after the first night to room 24 which was much better. However, her front staff were not helpful whatsoever in this move or accommodating as we had to ask several times to speak with the manager in the first place.
Hotel was clean and the second room was comfortable. However be prepared for obsessively loud music next door from 8am to 11pm with base that makes the room shake. We had to sleep with AirPods and brown noise to drown out the music. Also, the music at the beach club of this resort is also way too loud. We asked them to turn it down numerous times to which they did for an hour or so. Zero service at the pool. Some service at the beach but not attentive.
Sadly we will not be back.
