good experience

The cost of the home was just for the first floor. Usually get to use the whole house on most VRBO rentals. The hall bathtub did not have slip prevention bath mat or slip prevention strips. There were light bulbs missing in a guest room and an outlet in another that didn’t work. The house wasn’t fully stocked with trash bags and dish soap. The outlets should have had outlet protection tabs. The play equipment in the backyard needs to be updated. Not good for young kids under 5. The steps on the deck to the yard are not safe. Need a rail and they are too steep. First step is too low. Not properly installed. There is a raccoon in the backyard that made an appearance each day. The lock was not easy to operate since the home owner was also unavailable at check-in. The check-in time was not honored since the owner was without cell service. I feel they knew I was coming and should have been better prepared. Another family member contacted me on the VRBO message to help me and let me know about the owner being unavailable. I only talked with the owner with all communication.I picked this home for its space and close proximity to my daughter’s apartment while there for her wedding and have a meeting place for my family of 4. The location is great and close to a lot, restaurants, groceries, entertainment, etc.
