About this house rental
Welcome to The Quarry! Nestled along the De Soto bluffs and Great River Road, this cozy cabin retreat has everything you could ask for. Full kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom with full size bed, loft space with three twin beds, TV, games, outdoor patio, fireplace, endless river views, and hot tub of course! Property is near train tracks. The cabin is situated a few roads above the tracks but horn does sound near the crossing and can be heard. Fan and earplugs are provided!

Great place for a retreat with my wife! While listed as "sleeps 5" the loft would only be suitable for 3 children, not adults. Wasn't a problem for us, but just a note for others. Property was clean, BEAUTIFUL views of the Mississippi from the house and the hot tub!

The hot tub loses heat pretty quick. One night we sat in it and the temp went from 104 to 98 degrees in about an hour and a half. I know the outside temperature was 35 degrees but it should be able to withstand holding a warmer temp. A heads up or pictures of the drive way layout would be nice. Little difficult getting a boat up to the house. Any trailer would be hard to get up there.

Beautiful place on a bluff, but the loft that has three mattresses is really not made for adults. You cannot stand up in it, but the hot tub and the view made up for everything. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
