About this apartment rental
Chill in the secluded, tree-lined yard at a refined retreat. Live among the trees at a 2-story hideaway combining downtown views, vintage artwork, and reclaimed light fixtures. Unwind with a game of cards around the chic monochrome table, then climb the spiral staircase for a restful night's sleep. We built and furnished the Bird Nest with some of our favorite pieces- vintage artwork, reclaimed light fixtures, industrial sink, SMEG fridge, circular staircase, wide plank oak floors. The Bird Nest is in our backyard yet very much a private getaway - No windows face our house, it has it's own entrance (accessible by staircase), small yard, alley access and parking for 1 car.
The Bird Nest is all self check-in. Come and go as you please with your own entrance off the alleyway. We live in the main house and are available as needed. Please note, we have stairs- lots of them! There is a flight of stairs to access the front door, and a circular staircase inside. If stairs are not your thing, this place is not for you! At this time, we do not have a baby gate for the top of the stairs. It's a residential neighborhood, with 2 alley flat residents nearby so we ask that you not be loud as you come and go in the evening, especially late at night!

We loved our stay!! Ashley was super responsive and even helped us get the TV set up to watch an NBA game. In the perfect location, too. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this place! Out family of 4 (me, my husband and our 2 young adult daughters) stayed here for UT graduation. The hosts were great: friendly, helpful, efficient. The apartment had a great layout for 4. I loved having bathroom upstairs as well as downstairs. It offered flexibility for our different sleeping schedules. The decor was thoughtful, cool, and stylish. The location behind the main house was so private and quiet. The outdoor sitting area was another bonus! The neighborhood was so much fun to explore. We visited different places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - all really good. There were so many others we didn’t get to try. Hopefully we can come back and stay again!
