The check
In guy almost wouldn’t let us check bc my children did not have picture IDs ?? lol. This was humorous at first until I realized he was serious. Why would My children have picture IDs?

Room size, parking area with lights, pillows. Comfortable room.
The tube. Showers in tubes cause many senior citizens to fall and have issues. USA hotels are far behind European hotels which have showers. Had friends that were to check into hotel with a reservation, they were called and told there were no free rooms and thier reservation was cancelled. May cause me to think twice about your reservations.

I traveled to Scarborough for a road race in Portland and the location was very convenient to the race. The proximity of the hotel to variety of stores & restaurants made the location ideal.
There was no coffee on site. I was told by the front desk upon my arrival that there was not a coffee maker in the room but there would be coffee available in the lobby from 4:30am -11:00am. I was in the lobby at 6:00 and the coffee machine was off with no signs of it being available. The gate for the front desk was closed. I knocked to ask about the coffee but there was no response. I called to the front desk from my room and was also ignored. When planning for a race that starts early in the morning and requires traveling in an unfamiliar area coffee is a must for me. Needless to say, my race was thrown off.
It was a waste of race fee and a waste of the cost of a hotel...also, there was feces on the handle of the toilet.
