The check-in process was super easy. As we got closer to check-in time, the host sent through the access code, which made everything very straightforward.
One small suggestion would be to consider allowing an earlier check-in time, perhaps around 10:00 am. As guests, we felt that with the price paid, having a little more time to enjoy the property would provide even better value for money. Keeping the 10:00 am check-out time would mean guests could enjoy a full stay and make the most of their time there.

One of the best guesthouses and places I have ever stayed in. Hands down, my wife and I cannot fault it. Location, parking, facilities? All 5 star ! ⭐️
We loved the bathroom, the outdoor patio with the Chimanea and the room + Bed. - everything!
Oakwood Guesthouse felt luxury and warm, like staying at the Park Hyatt Sydney but with the warmth of home.

The physical accommodation was lovely and clean, well appointed and well maintained.
The close proximity to the main residence wasn’t disclosed by the hosts and there was considerable interference, especially with parking as they had many visitors during our stay and while this was corrected (after we said something) it felt slightly tone deaf considering we paid almost $1,500 to stay there for three nights.
