Kalukanda House

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, I could not have rated Kalukanda and the team more highly. We were looked after perfectly from start to finish, with no stone left unturned. From the house, to the facilities, to the food and the hospitality provided, Kalukanda exceeded all expectations, and I could not recommend it more. A stones throw from a small and secluded beach, with very easy and available transport links to Weligama and all it has to offer, the house is ideally situated to offer both relaxation and wider activities. Dee, Shenaia, and the whole team are brilliant and deserve all the credit they get.

Nous avons séjourné début mars dans cet endroit magnifique. Ce lieu est un vrai cocon où tout est pensé pour le confort des hôtes. La maison dispose de volets (ce qui n'est pas habituel), les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits très confortables. Les nuits y sont reposantes, loin du bruit. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et copieux. Les massages offerts étaient également d'un très bon niveau. Tout était parfait! Nous remercions chaleureusement Dee, Shenaia et toute l'équipe pour ce moment!

The photos do not do this beautiful house justice. In effect it felt like staying in a private villa. Beautiful high ceilings and amazing room. Located not far from the main road but a haven of tranquility. Lovely attentive staff. Great recommendations/ arrangements by Shenaia the manager and fantastic cookery class by Suranga the chef. Additionally, the yoga classes next door were great.

No fault of the property but the vegetation and surroundings attract a lot of mosquitoes. Not a problem in the room though.

Уникальное место, ты как будто находишься посреди джунглей, где в гости приходят обезьяны, павлины и вараны. А пение птиц по утрам, вместо будильника, очень круто. Прежде всего хочется отметить потрясающий дизайн виллы, который сочетает в себе ланкийский и английский стили. Просторная вилла, создает ощущение как будто ты живешь в ней один. Мне хотелось фотографировать каждый уголок. Атмосфера уюта и комфорта. А персонал на высшем уровне, внимательный и заботливый. Всегда подскажут, помогут, как будто ты их давний друг. Территория ухоженная и зеленая. Все очень чисто и есть все необходимое для отдыха. Так же удобное расположение виллы, так как пляж находится в 5 минутах пешком. Там же есть хорошая сёрф школа, которую нам посоветовала Шейна. За это отдельное спасибо. А до так сказать центра на байке или тук туке минут 7. Отдых на вилле нам очень понравился, однозначно буду рекомендовать его знакомым и надеюсь вернусь снова. Единственный момент по оплате, сам букинг вводит в заблуждение что оплата на месте. Но на вилле не принимают наличные, есть только перевод. Нас это в начале испугало, но Ди уверила что все ок. Мы оплатили и провели замечательно время. Так же спасибо, за приветственный ужин и массаж.
