The property was an amazing location. A characterful tree house that was clean with a lovely bathroom. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. He organised our transfer from the airport and he personally took us to the two rock hikes (even at 4:30am) for very reasonable prices. The breakfast was amazing and authentic. He even helped us get on the right bus to Kandy by driving us to Dambulla. Couldn’t recommend more. A very fun place to stay with a very kind host.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jungle Crown Cabins in Sigyria and enjoyed so much! Ruwan and his familiy are very lovely, they took best care of us and were always there to help, for example with organising Safaris, rides or anything else we needed. The breakfast was amazing and so delicious, and also the location is perfect for visiting Sigyria Rock and many other sights in Sigyria. On top of that, we loved using the large pool nearby and enjoyed lovely panoramic views over Thalkote lake and the Lion Rock every night. The Cabin is super cozy, clean and well maintained. Highly recommendable and we would love to return!

Stabiles Holzhaus.
Die Inhaber waren nett.
Die Klimaanlage lies sich nicht korrekt steuern, so dass es zu kalt mit war und zu warm ohne. Zu kalt, da es keine Decke gab und nur ein Laken. Das Bettlaken hatte große Löcher die notdürftig geflickt waren. Die Matratze war zudem so hart, dass nach wenigen Minuten auf der Seite Hüftschmerzen entstanden. In der zweiten Nacht gab es zwischen 01:55-02:15 laute Geräusche, die auch erst wie Schüsse und später wie explosionsartige Sprengungen auf dem Nachbargrundstück- wenige Meter entfernt- anhörten. Das machte Angst. Die zwei Nächte waren alles andere als erholsam.
Zu Anfang gab es einen welcome Drink. Der war aber so scheußlich versalzen, dass wir ihn stehen lassen mussten.Es gab keinen Kühlschrank, so dass Lebensmittel nicht gekühlt werden können.
Es gab zwei Duschamaturen: eine davon funktionierte, aber warmes Wasser gab es nicht.
Im Badezimmer liefen Ameisen am Waschbecken Rand herum während unseres 2-nächtigen Aufenthalts. Der Toilettendeckel passte nicht auf die Toilette, so dass es beim setzen jedes mal knallte und der Deckel nicht oben blieb, sondern auf den Rücken fiel. Außerdem gab es keine Handtuchhalter im Bad und die Handtücher waren leicht bräunlich dreckig.
Die obere Etage war nicht gereinigt und tote Käfer lagen dort herum.
