Raffa’s little house, located right in the heart of Livorno, is a rustic-style attic apartment with original terracotta floors and exposed beams—exactly as the first traditional houses along the Tuscan coast were built. Just as back then, you’ll find original, traditional post-Macchiaioli paintings on display. The house is small but very comfortable and suitable for three people; it doesn’t even feel like you’re staying in a building right in the city center because it’s so incredibly quiet. On the first floor, two bicycles are available for guests to explore the city freely—please request them at check-in. Nearby, you’ll find the Goldoni Theater, the central market, and the Venezia neighborhood, with its characteristic canals and fortresses offering panoramic views—where you can enjoy evening performances every night in the summer and visit traditional spots to have an aperitif or sample Livorno’s local specialties.
