The location is great for the beach. The pool area was very clean and the staff was courteous. The room was well-equipped with electrical outlets. The air conditioner worked nicely.
Due to traffic, we were unable to check in until 8:00 p.m. The first thing we noticed was there were no towels or washcloths in the bathroom. We checked all of the cabinets and could not locate any to take a shower after a long 14-hour trip. We then noticed there were no linens on the bed under the quilts on the beds. The only thing under the quilt was a mattress pad. I had to call the emergency line at 8:30 p.m. Finally, someone arrived with our towels and linens at 9:36 p.m. As I was making the beds, I noticed how dirty and dusty it was around the headboard, like it hadn't ever been cleaned.
When I went to take a shower, I noticed the shower curtain had stains and oily substances all over the outside of it. The tub was cracked. The furniture on the balcony was dirty. I had to clean it before sitting down. I have stayed in other rooms at the Bay Watch and they were much better than this one.
