Perfect base for exploring Cairo
Kemet Hotel was the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The location made getting around Cairo extremely easy, and coming back to a clean, comfortable, and peaceful room made all the difference. Excellent value and top-tier service!

Great location and genuinely warm hospitality
We had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Tahrir Square, making it very convenient for exploring Cairo.
What really stood out to us was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The housekeeping team was lovely — all the ladies were very kind and helpful, as well as their manager Safaa.
The restaurant staff were also wonderful. One of the ladies kept checking on us to see if we needed anything and brought us coffee and water, even though breakfast was a buffet and self-service. The gentleman preparing the omelette was also very kind and attentive.
The team went above and beyond to help us with everything and paid attention to the smallest details. They even offered to change our room twice to make sure we were comfortable.
A special thank you to Ahmed (if I remember the name correctly) for his kindness and help throughout our stay.
Overall, what made our stay special was not only the great location, but the genuine hospitality and care from the entire team. We truly appreciated it.
The main issue for us was the noise. Surprisingly, it wasn’t the street noise or the sound of cars, as we had expected given the location. The noise came mainly from inside the hotel itself.
The rooms are not soundproof at all, and we could hear almost everything happening in the corridors and even at the reception area from the second floor. We could clearly hear other guests talking and moving around, which was particularly noticeable at night and made it difficult to sleep.
Improving the soundproofing of the rooms would make the stay much more comfortable.

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen. Paikat olivat siistit.
Hotelli oli pienoinen pettymys. Lakanat olivat erittäin huonolaatuiset ja tyynyt aivan liian suuria. Pienempiä ei ollut saatavilla. Suihku oli asennettu oudosti. Ilmastointi oli aivan liian kylmä (sitä ei saanut lämpimämmäksi eikä pienemmälle teholle), joten sitä joutui yön aikana säätämään päälle ja pois. Henkilökunta ei puhunut englantia, ainoastaan vastaanotossa hiukan.
