As a tour guide who has seen many accommodations, I truly appreciate the hospitality at this small homestay. The owner is a young woman who manages the place with a perfect balance of kindness and professionalism. It is very rare to find a host who treats locals and foreigners with the same level of respect, and her welcoming nature made my New Year stay very special—she even shared her holiday food with me for free.
It is a very safe environment, especially for solo female/male travelers or small families.
In my opinion, this place is perfect for the genuine budget traveler. However, I don’t think it is the right fit for those who pay budget prices but expect luxury and find reasons to complain about everything. If you appreciate a safe, honest, and warm home-away-from-home that is worth every cent, I highly recommend it. It is a beautiful example of true Sri Lankan hospitality."❤🥰
