Location was in a beautiful spot near the viaduct and alongside the Estuary. Peaceful and picturesque. Cottage was solidly built with quality features and everything you need for a relaxing break. Beds very comfy and parking right outside the door.
Nothing we didn't like, in fact we have already recommended to family and friends and hope to return in the summer months.

A lovely quiet location almost underneath Larpool Viaduct on the banks of the River Esk. Only a short drive into Whitby, or an approx 30 minute mostly off-road walk via the Cinder Track over the viaduct (steep uphill out of the site then flat and downhill). Taxi to/from Whitby centre is approx £8.00 as of September 2026. The house itself is compact but very comfortable and the shower is excellent. Would certainly stay here again.
