Farm lodge is just a 5 minute drive from Monaghan town in the lovely country side near the Ardaghey area. It’s a very genourous 2 bed apartment ( 2 double rooms one with a double and single bed) with a large living area and bathroom. It’s on the grounds of a working farm which is tucked in behind the property out of view. The owners left all the essential groceries - bread, butter, milk, eggs and tea/coffee which is a really lovely touch. We will definitely stay here again next year if this property is available at this time of year which coincides with Monaghan blues festival and the local blessing of the graves. I highly recommend to anyone with a car at their disposal.

Es ist wirklich sehr ordentlich, sauber und voll ausgestattet. Es hat einen eigenen sehr irischen Charme. Alles was man braucht ist vor Ort! Im Bad steht ein Korb mit allem nötigen und mehr. In der Küche gab es Eier, Butter, Haferflocken und frischen Orangensaft und vieles mehr. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl! Wenn wir auch nur eine Nacht dort waren, es war perfekt. Einfach empfehlenswert!

We thought they were very friendly, and the place was spacious, well equipped and a good value. They even gave us a few eggs from the farm. We appreciated the dog-friendliness. It was really close to the town of Monahan so it was convenient for our appointments.
