Die Einrichtung der gesamten Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll. :)
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und man konnte sich direkt total wohlfühlen.
Die Familie, der die Unterkunft gehört, ist sehr lieb. Der Bruder des Besitzers Rukshan kümmert sich um alles vor Ort und war jederzeit ansprechbar. ☺️
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wird von der Mutter zubereitet. ☺️
Rukshan war so lieb und hat uns sehr günstig selbst nach Negombo zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft gebracht.

A very clean & spacious room, in a quiet part of town (but just a short walk from Kabalana beach & some lovely cafés). Great water pressure in the shower (+ hot water). The main town - shops & restaurants - are slightly further away but you can rent a scooter/take a tuktuk. As a solo female traveller, I felt very comfortable walking during the day and would usually take a tuk-tuk back in the evening as there aren't any lights on the street. Breakfast in the garden each morning was a highlight, with lots of variety and everything tasting fresh and delicious. The family were so lovely, always smiling and keen to help. Ended up extending my stay - felt like a home away from home.
The only small improvements I’d suggest would be adding thicker curtains, as the room gets very bright early in the morning, and perhaps including a set of drawers for a bit more storage.

This is an amazing place to stay! Summer Waves is a peaceful and very comfortable villa with clean bedrooms, great AC and a nice balcony area.
The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. The banana pancake breakfast was SO good!
