We had a lovely stay at appartamento Romy. The house is certainly big enough for four people – two adults and two girls aged 11 and 17. Romy refers to the upper part of two appertments in the same building.
The sea view is fantastic, as is the location (it’s a pity we weren’t allowed to use the neighbours’ swimming pool below). There are no buildings between the house and the sea. It’s a 12-minute walk to the beach and 14 minutes to Villasimius. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, pots and pans. The mattresses on the beds are comfortable, though that’s certainly a matter of personal preference. Both bedrooms and the kitchen have a well-functioning air-conditioning unit. The house doesn’t have a private parking space, but there’s plenty of space to park just 15 metres away.
There were also a few minor issues. The cleaning could have been better. Estay wanted to sort it out by sending a cleaning team, but not until the following day. We chose to clean the place ourselves, as we wanted to start our holiday in a clean house. As compensation, we received a small gesture in the form of Sardinian products.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable. It either worked or it didn’t. About 50-50%.
Be careful not to have too many electrical appliances switched on at the same time, as the power supply cannot cope with this. A simple reset of the circuit breaker in the house is sufficient. And if the neighbours below are also using too much power, the main circuit breaker on the street needs to be reset, as otherwise both properties will be without electricity. In our case, the neighbours below were the cause.
Although the house is a bit dated and certainly needs some maintenance, we had 10 lovely days there. We would definitely come back once the minor issues (the rental company knows which ones) have been resolved.

Posizione panoramica con vista mare e ben ventilata (nelle giornate più torride si è comunque dovuto ricorrere al condizionamento). Appartamento in gran parte circondato dal verde. Appartamento ampio e molto confortevole, ben attrezzato, con arredi adeguati. Facilità di parcheggio. Grande disponibilità del gestore. La spiaggia di Simius è facilmente raggiungibile con una passeggiata di dieci minuti, così come il centro di Villasimius.
Gli scarichi del bagno principale necessitano di una revisione. Il Wi-Fi a volte è lento o perde la comunicazione con internet.
