The first thing I noticed were the clean white lines of Casa Aulaga when I first saw it. It's a really calming and simple design. I loved the light and open feel to it, with the huge sliding doors onto the patio and lovely garden. It has high ceilings and lots of windows and doors so there's always air moving on hot days, moving the white gauze curtains. The finish is really high end. With beautiful soft furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen and utility area, there wasn't anything missing. The whole place is also spotless, inside and out. I've rebooked already.
I particularly liked the view over the mountains above Yaiza. You can see the sea from the roof terrace, but it's the changing shadows and colours of the hills that define this villa.
The host provided some snacks, drinks and toiletries which was a nice touch. Also the air conditioning is a bonus. A truly lovely stay worth every cent. Another plus for me (my friend is a wheelchair user) is that the villa is also fully wheelchair accessible. Wide doorways and living spaces, walk in wet room showers and no steps or gravel to block a wheelchair inside or out. 10 out of 10, thank you very much to the responsive and helpful owner.

We stayed at Casa Aulaga from September 5th to 16th and had an absolutely wonderful holiday.
The villa is simply beautiful: large, spacious, very well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Everything was provided, from toiletries and cleaning products to barbecue supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, pool float and much more.
What we appreciated the most, however, was the kindness and professionalism of the entire team. They were always available and very responsive. When we had a small issue with the air conditioning, they came to our assistance immediately and resolved the problem.
We also really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches: the pool was always clean, the towels were neatly folded on the sun loungers and, after we used the barbecue, the team kindly cleaned it for us.
When we mentioned that we were missing a few sponges and dishwasher tablets, they brought them to us immediately.
A huge thank you to Glenda and the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness and professionalism. Casa Aulaga is a beautiful villa, but it is also the wonderful people who take care of it that make the stay truly special.
We highly recommend Casa Aulaga to everyone and would definitely stay here again. We will absolutely come back! 🫶🏽
