My family and I come to the Crystal Beach area every summer for vacation. This was our first time staying in Gilchrist and it did not disappoint! We had an amazing time, and we absolutely loved the Sandy Shores house! The location couldn't have been better.... right on the beach so it is easy to go back and forth to the house when needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. We also loved the big deck where you can easily see everything when some are at the house and some are still playing by the water. The house was beautiful! Everything was decorated perfectly and it felt very homey. One of the biggest bonuses for me was how clean the house felt. I'm a bit over the top when it comes to cleanliness, and I never once worried that the bedding wasn't washed or surfaces weren't cleaned properly. Hosts were wonderful and responded promptly to any questions that we had. This was our best trip yet to the Bolivar Peninsula and we can't wait to come back next year and hopefully stay at the Sandy Shores house again! I highly recommend this property!

Great house right on the water! Lack of grill and beach chairs kind of a let down. Cargo lift is a game changer for luggage and groceries!
