The apartment sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms. It has a fully equipped open kitchen and dining room and a light and airy living room with a partial view of Hallgrimskirkja and a beautiful bathroom in Art Deco style. Full oak floors / black slate flooring throughout. Decorated and refurbished with only the very best. We tried to think of everything: flat screen, home cinema, Wifi, washing machine/dryer, dish washer, iron, fully equipped kitchen, mini library with English (and some German) language books, board games - and even some Icelandic/Scandinavian art pieces and original art! Further details indoors: We have children of our own; your children are of course more than welcome! There's a high chair, a cot (with bedding) and 2 booster seats for the car also available in the apartment. Towels and bedding for both bedrooms are all provided, and of course included in the price. Further details outdoors: Not far from the sea, extremely close to all amenities (geothermal pool, shopping, supermarket, artisanal bakeries, central restaurants and coffee bars and all museums and exhibitions) with easy (metered) parking on street and close by. We are also very close to several tour bus pick up/drop off points, all just 2 to max 5 minutes walk away. 1 - 5 Minutes Walk from the apartment Stroll down Laugavegur, the main shopping street with its many exclusive Icelandic design stores, restaurants, cafes, 24 hour supermarket... Plus one of Iceland's ubiquitous Bonus supermarkets, and Sandholt, arguably the best bakery in Reykjavik. Beautiful warm apartment. Welcoming and cosy. Wished we had longer in Iceland. Definitely check out Sundhollin pool. Perlan is also worth a visit. South Coast tour was a long day but definitely worth it. Already planning to return in the Summer months sometime. Fireworks were insane!!

This flat was everything that we needed! It's conveniently accessible with a Bonus Store just around the corner. Convenient parking available for those with a car. The host was gracious and the apartment was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is in a great location that is easy to find. It is close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Sue is a wonderful host. She was very quick to respond to any questions. We never had any trouble with parking and felt very secure in the area. We will definitely be back for the summer this coming year. Thanks Sue

Clean, well furnished, great location close to a nice variety of restaurants and pubs. The kitchen, living room, and master BR are very roomy and offer good views of the area. The second BR is a bit tight if you have large suitcases. The only negative, especially if you have large suitcases, would be the 2 flights of stairs. Paid city parking (Zone P2) was available on the street close to the entry door. Our host, Sue, was easy to communicate with via email and provided lots of useful info about local food, tourist sites, etc.

This apartment is in the perfect location to explore everything Reykjavik has to offer. Within 5-10 minute walk, you are right in the middle of everything - shops, dining, nightlife. One of the bus stops for tour pick-ups is 1.5 blocks away. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. Our family of four (boys are 20 & 17) had an amazing time and are already starting to plan our next trip. Highly recommend the Wake Up Reykjavik food tour - learn lots of history of the city and get to try many traditional dishes!

The property is exactly as advertised. The location is wonderful. There are many shops and restaurants near this apartment. Parking was very easy. The host left impeccable notes with great suggestions for excursions. I would definitely stay here again. It is also family friendly.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable, easy walk to all of downtown Reykjavik. Perfect for 4 people. Communication with host was terrific - responds almost immediately, provides lots information about things to do, places to eat, etc. Definitely highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay in our center of town apartment. Our contact with the host was easy and they always responded promptly.
The apartment is steps away from the restaurant and shopping street of Laugavegur. But far enough away to not hear noise from the street.
The beds were comfortable, the living room large for nightime gatherings, and the apartment was very clean.
It is 2 flights up for those with mobility issues with stairs. We heard the neighbors a few times through the walls, but it never was bothersome.
If we return to Iceland, we would choose this apartment again. Cheers!

This property was a perfect home for us while we were visiting Iceland. It was nicely appointed, had any appliances and utensils we needed when we felt like cooking at home, and was in walking distance to everything in downtown Reykjavik, just steps away from the main shopping street, coffee shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. The apartment is very specious, had comfortable beds and cozy linens, great bathroom with a shower. We definitely will return when we are back to iceland. We had a car rental and parking was simple to find, and Easy Park app was great help for paying on a fly. If you have an electric vehicle like we had, there is a charging station next to the pool that made our recharging overnight super simple. I highly recommend this place. Sue was an amazing host, proactively communicated to us details and was very responsive. We were fortunate to find this apartment and have such a pleasant experience. Thank you

Apartment is as described. We enjoyed having the space to gather together as well as room apart to rest. The location was very convenient to activities around town. One note for older people - there are stairs - two long flights that you must carry your luggage up.

The apartment is large and located on the edge of all the shopping and dining activities, so nearby, without the bustle. Washer/dryer/wifi/dishwasher. The beds are lowish with fairly thin mattresses, but comfortable. Very easy to communicate with the owner, and complete information provided. And just up the hill from a hotel where tour and airport busses stop.

We loved everything about this apartment!! The location is walking distance to everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Parking was easy. The apartment was spacious and clean. Sue was very accommodating and provided information prior to our trip which made for an easy arrival. We would absolutely stay at this location next time we visit Reykjavik.

The entrance does not match the apartment. We were hesitant at first but once we made it to the apartment door on the second floor it looks just as described and the pictures. We enjoyed being able to walk to so many places in the city. The owner communicates often and gives detailed info about the apartment and the area. If you are looking to spend some time in the city you won’t go wrong with this place.

We absolutely loved this apartment for our stay in Reykjavik. The check in process was seamless and we were able to get settled in right away after our long flight. The location is right downtown and is very convenient for walking and exploring the city. Our host had excellent communication. She was friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and also to inform us about some light renovations in the apartment above us. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

A comfortable, spacious apartment very close to tour pickup bus stops, restaurants and shops in 101 Reykjavik. The host was very responsive and provided a pre- travel guide to the area that was very helpful. It made the trip to Iceland convenient and enjoyable.

This apartment was ideal for our short time in Reykjavik (4.5 days). It was perfect for sightseeing on foot as well as driving to surrounding areas. This was one of our most enjoyable VRBO experiences because of the extraordinarily helpful pre-trip communication with the owner Sue as well as the central location and furnishings of the apartment itself. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival. The beds were comfortable, the shower had fantastic water pressure and delightfully hot water, and there was plenty of natural light plus a well stocked kitchen as far as dishes/cookware. We didn't cook in the apartment as we enjoyed restaurants in the area, but could have done so very easily. Street parking was a snap and garage parking/charging for electric vehicles was nearby too. This beautiful apartment would be ideal for a longer term stay and we would love to be guests again in the future.

Immaculate fabulous apartment with corner views of Reykjavik - Very spacious living area and nicely appointed kitchen that was stocked with some basics - rooms had space to store items and lots of wall hooks which are always appreciated. Stayed here 3 of 5 nights, with 2 nights on southern coast. If we could do it over would have stayed the entire trip and done the south coast as a day trip - making more meals in the kitchen - it’s the sort of apartment that would be nice to settle in to and spend some time with the books on the wall or a board game. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely Reykjavík apartment. The check-in process in with the owner was easy and flawless, and she provided a wonderful written guide to the apartment and Reykjavík via email. The owner was also extremely responsive with questions prior to our trip, which was appreciated! The flat was exactly as listed and had everything we needed for our week in Iceland. We were a family of three and it was perfect for us. I especially liked the owner’s recommendation on where we could get picked up for day tours - a hotel three blocks away. That was extremely helpful. I loved that we could walk everywhere from our apartment and enjoyed exploring the city. One of our favorite spots was BRASS restaurant just a few blocks away on Laugevegur. Excellent fish and chips! I also loved being able to hear the chimes of Hallgrimskirkja but they weren’t loud enough to wake me. I’m a very light sleeper and very sensitive to noise at night. Yes, it did get a bit noisy one night with late groups walking home rather loudly, but I came prepared with a white noise app on my phone and didn’t have any problems sleeping. I would absolutely stay here again. Would love to explore Iceland in the summer!

Sue was awesome and really great at communicating. We loved the place and the location would highly recommend it. It had everything we needed for a kitchen and great location. We used the parka app and packed 1 block away in p2, no problems. We would stay here again when we return!

This apartment is in the perfect spot for exploring Reykjavik. Quick walk to many restaurants, bakery and shops. Sue provided fabulous notes and recommendations for everything we needed and ideas for fun road trips.

Sue, the apartment host was wonderful to work with and was helpful. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, mattresses could have been a liitle more comfortable and cushiony, but we are spoiled I think by our own beds, other than that everything else was perfect. It was a little loud at night with nightlife in early hours, but once window was closed all was quiet. Neighborhood always, felt safe leaving/coming to apartment at all hours. We did however have to learn to be back at apartment at a decent time especially on a Fri/Sat night to get parking, if not you did have to park sometimes 4-6 blocks away, so don't forget where you left the car if you were exhausted from sightseeing. I highly recommend this apartment and area was close to walking either to planetarium or downtown for restaurants on the rainbow road with shopping.. Would stay here again on our next trip and recommend to friends. Thanks Erin
