Beautiful two bedroom apartments in the heart of Reykjavík. The apartment is in a prime location, right in the city centre and within walking distance of all the cities main attractions. It features 2 spacious bedrooms with ample closet space, fully equipped full size kitchen.
Please note these are multi unit apartments and there is slight difference between them. One of them is very cosy loft apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the city central, Týr Apartments is perfect for your explorations while in Iceland. The apartments have a city view and you can enjoy the downtown area comfortably by foot. Only a few steps away is the popular shopping street Laugavegur and the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja Church is only 5 minutes walk away. The area has plenty of restaurants in all ranges but you're also free to make a homemade meal with the fully equipped kitchen.
Getting Around:
Public transport from here is very good. The main bus station (Hlemmur) is within 5 minute walk. There are tons of bars and restaurants within few minute walking distance. There is limited parking due to the location and most spaces are pay and display but are free overnight

Please note that this is multi unit listing, we have 3 very similar apartments in the same building which are all under this listing. It is therefore possible to book the listing up to 3 times, make sure if you only want to book one apartment that you do not accidentally make multiple bookings.
Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.
We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the building and front doors, for your safety.

We enjoyed our stay with the Tyr apartments. The fourth floor, 2-bedroom rental was perfect for three friends exploring Reykjavik and surrounding areas. The location was perfect; one block from the main shopping/dining street and close to waterfront, bus stops, etc. The place was clean and nicely laid out with full kitchen for making breakfast and snacks. We appreciated the rental management allowing us late checkout and luggage storage until our departure flight. Highly recommend staying here on your Reykjavik visit!

Clean and spacious for couple and two adult children. Within walking distance of city center and many restaurants and groceries, shops and attractions. Public swim center two blocks away. We did not have a car. Would stay here again. 4th floor apartment ceilings are slanted- not good for very tall people but has nice view.

The pictures on this property listing is not at all what we got and I reported it to the property manager and VRBO. The apartment they gave us was on the 4th floor which had severely sloped ceilings. It was also a lot smaller than the pictures. There was only one small path through the living room and dining room before the sloped ceiling starts; the bedrooms also had sloped ceilings so you had to bend and twist to get into and around the beds. This did not work well for a family of 5 where 4 people are 6' 2" and taller. Additionally, our check-in was at 3 p.m. but we couldn't get in until 4:15 p.m. We were so jet-lagged. I understand it was from the previous people not departing until 1 p.m. but we should have received compensation for this issue as well as the others I am stating next. The laundry machine did not have any instructions, even though I emailed and asked for instructions. We could only get it to wash and then hung what we needed to dry in the unit. The hair dryer didn't work. After 3 days, I went and bought one. I did bring this up to the property manager and all I was told was sorry. Then later discovered they had extras in the laundry room. Also, the shower curtain was moldy. The only things good about this property are the location and it was clean, except the moldy shower curtain.
