Mir hat die unglaubliche Freundlichkeit der Gastfamilie gefallen. Schon vor der Ankunft hatte sie uns über alles im Details informiert und stets schnell geantwortet. Alle waren freundlich, herzlich, diskret und rund um die Uhr verfügbar. Der Höhepunkt war das Frühstück nach Sri Lanka Art am Abreisetag, das von der Mutter frisch zubereitet worden war und mit einer Mischung aus Reis, Kartoffeln, Hühnchen-Curry und Obst leckerer war als in vielen Restaurants auf der Insel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, das Bad modern, der Balkon perfekt zur Entspannung. Alle Hotspots lassen sich zu Fuß oder mit dem Tuk Tuk schnell erreichen. Wer den persönlichen Kontakt zu einer wunderbaren Familie mehr schätzt als die Anonymität der meisten Hotels, ist in der Ski Villa perfekt aufgehoben.

The house owners were absolutely lovely, kind gentle people. They went above and beyond to accomodate us. Giving us a burner and kitchen facilities upon request to help us with our stay, their manager was on call 24/7 to give us advice, recommendations and help. When we left they were kind enough to give us a small gift, which really touched our hearts. Lovely humble people, the room was absolutely spotlessly clean, couldn't fault it. Great location, close to major supermarkets and old town/ bike rentals/ restuarants

I’ve been all over Sri Lanka for over a month, yeah, and this place is elite. Proper comfy, proper good price, I was like ‘I swear I didn’t pay enough!’ Only a few quid and it was quality. Staff were amazing. I’ll be back next year and I’m staying here again. Respect, thank you!
