Short stay. Clean and nice house. Host was very welcoming and friendly. Washroom is clean but no push shower you can keep that in mind.
Shared kitchen as mentioned is not much actually shared it’s just you can use plates to warm food on microwave. You can’t use the kitchen for anything
And the microwave is outside the kitchen so keep that in mind

Mahesh and his family were such a great hosts!
The room was exceptional and very private with ac and a fan, private rooftop and a bathroom
They host us for local breakfast, and gave us tea everyday
We gad a great time in mahesh place!
The location is great but you will need to rent a scooter
Ask mahesh for a help!

Even though I had provided my flight arrival time in advance, when I arrived at the hotel there was no one there, so I had to wait.
The air conditioning is positioned directly above the bed, so the air blows straight onto you, which I found uncomfortable. When I turned on the fan, it was extremely noisy and I couldn’t sleep.
There is also no mosquito net, which I consider a must-have in Sri Lanka.
Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
