Tredegar might be a town rough on the edge but locals are generally nice. Can't complain when the location is half an hour drive away from most of the hiking spots! Accommodation itself is modernly designed, the shower is hot, kitchen is well equipped, we and our dog were happy with our stay.
This accommodation is run by Sleepy Stays, be mindful you would still need to put down security deposit and ID check after booking.com payment. We did get the deposit back after end of our stay.
We struggled to find places for food in the area, just ended up having meals at local Wetherspoon for a few evenings in a row.
On-site parking spot was a little tight so we just parked on the street instead

Lovely house, very clean, great location to local town, great communication from the host, feel right at home from moment you walk in. Off street parking and on road parking makes it so easy would definitely stay again.
