I wasn't sure what to expect from the room when I was in the hallway as it's a bit basic but while the decor wasn't to my taste, I was very happy with the room. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. Place was pretty clean but possibly due for a lick of paint here and there. Great value, a couple of small tweaks and it'd be perfect.
You can't close the curtains in the bedroom, the rope instead of a curtain rail looks pretty but it's so bright as soon as the sun comes up. It's a deal-breaker for me. There's no hot water in the kitchen, bathroom was fine though. A TV in the main room would have been nice, also some basic information on a laminated sheet of paper eg, how to work the TV and adjust the heating would be helpful

The mattress was too soft and the fridge was too low and theating never came on the first day

The location was good. The fixtures bathroom and kitchen were obviously recently installed and therefore clean and suitable.
Superficially it was clean.
Fundamentally the ‘apartment’ and the entire building needed a deep clean and a coat of paint.
The shower door did not close.
The towels had been folded while damp and by a smoker!
