That was a truly exeptional stay for my family. Absolutely incredible place! View from balcony looks as a postcard. Accomodation is perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. Beautiful garden, surrounded by rice fields. Owners are the nicest local family on Sri Lanka! It means something, because Sri Lanlans in general are the nicest people I know 😊 They help us with everything we need. Great authentic food, the rice is grown right under our windos, they even make a homemade rice noodles. At walking distance is huge ancient temple, a trip along a photogenic lake without meet any tourist. Overall, I highly recommend this place to those traveling to Sygiria, whis is 30 mins by tuktuk or car. Vibe of this place is uncomparable to anything we saw aorund Sygiria area.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The family which owns the place is extremely friendly and helpful. They took us in like family and showed us around the area and their home. The location was breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was super relaxing. The view from the room was like a movie, and from the rooftop terrace you can see the sunset. We got breakfast and dinner every day and it was the best food we have ever had. We stayed two more nights because it was just so wonderful. We already made plans to come back again! We definitely recommend this hotel and are looking forward to staying here again soon! I can’t thank this family enough of how good they were to us. We already miss them!

We had some of our favourite days in sri lanka here!
The family are super warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we had a great time, cooking delicious and generous homemade meals, picking us homegrown fruits to try and sharing laughs :)
The room is really airy and spacious, nice big bed and the view from the room and balcony of the mountain is absolutely stunning! You see so many birds as well its lovely to just sit there.
It's a perfect stop off point between dambulla and Kandy. Lovely lake walk right on the doorstep woth some ancient ruins and a mountain. The location is so calm and peaceful.

I had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at Diamond Mount Villa. The mountain view was beautiful, and the natural surroundings were truly amazing. I especially enjoyed the beauty of the house on the tamarind tree, along with seeing peacocks and herons. Waking up to birds made the whole experience very calm and refreshing.
The bicycle ride along the lakeside was peaceful and relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and well prepared. Overall, this is a quiet, nature-filled place perfect for relaxation. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Diamond Mount Villa.❤️
