The building is very attractive, in tune with Whitehaven’s past and a lovely space to be inside. The views from the coffee shop and the bedrooms are great. Inside the building there are quirky industrial details and design. The bed was really comfortable and the electronic blinds provided the backdrop to a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent walk in shower, and alongside the room and public spaces extremely clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast which was included in the price was good.
The problem with the bedrooms becoming too warm not yet sorted though fans are provided.

The position is superb
The room was dirty, we found toe nail clippings all over the floor , also when we were leaving we saw a cleaner that looked like a child ! The breakfast is very average at best
