Celtic Springs Guest House With Free Parking

Fantastic value, fantastic host. The place was easy to find and the hosts gave very clear instructions on how to access the room. Plenty of off-road free parking. The room had a kettle, tea bags, sugar, and milk portions, but if you have a milk allergy, you will need to bring your own coffee as there was only cafe latte sachets which have milk powder in them. The bathroom had a great shower and all toiletries were provided, as were towels, and a hairdryer. There is also a fan in the room. There was a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use, including a washing machine, and a table and chair in the room so you could eat privately or you could eat in the kitchen area. Nearby is a Greggs, a coffee shop, a butchers, and a pub. There's also a supermarket near and Tredegar House is a 10min walk away.

My room faced the main road, so you will hear road noise but it was not excessive.

The room had everything you needed and the shared area was great with a fridge and freezer section, nice little kitchen that was clean and being able to do laundry if needed is a great bonus and the massive parking area was good not having to squeeze in.

I would’ve preferred there to be a small blind or something infront of the en suite window, although it had the glass that you can’t see properly through I felt a little uncomfortable using the toilet right infront of it and getting out of the shower which is also directly opposite. The only small thing I would say.

Messy garden, lots of weeds and junk just thrown around. Linen and towels were clean and the owners had done their best but the place was a bit run down
