Central Guest House

It was honestly the best place I've stayed on my whole trip so far. I stayed in 2 places in Newport and this one was like heaven and the other was like hell ! The gentleman who greeted me was immediately thoughtful and helpful and the other who helped me by storing my bag at check out was the same. It felt like being at home, I was safe and comfortable the whole time and it was quiet despite being on the main road. There's a garage opposite and it's a quick walk into the centre and to the stations. If the room had been available I would have stayed the whole time, thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, it makes all the difference!

The only thing that would have made it better is a kettle in the room or downstairs!

Absolutely amazing customer service, will respond instantly to any questions or queries you have, good parking, very clean. Shared bathrooms very nice, and i dont do shared at all! Absolutely nothing more you could ask for from this place very impressed

The location was good with a short walk to the station and easily accessible by car with limited parking spots. The rooms were spacious.

On our visit the bed was broken, but could have easily been missed. The bathrooms are shared which isn't ideal, but yet again this was a good stay on a budget.
