We had a truly lovely stay at Casa Ubalddo and felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Maria, the host, was incredibly caring and attentive to every detail.
When we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely surprise — fresh seasonal fruit. There were also drinks waiting for us in the fridge, as well as coffee. These thoughtful touches made us feel right at home.
The apartment itself is spacious, beautifully designed and exceptionally well equipped. Everything has been thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail, and we had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. It was also spotlessly clean — truly impeccable.
The location is excellent if you are travelling by car and want to explore the main attractions of Puglia while also staying relatively close to the beach. It is a very convenient base for discovering the area and visiting different towns and coastal spots.
There is also a very simple, authentic pizzeria nearby, open until midnight, which is clearly a favourite among the locals. It’s a great place to try local Puglian food at very reasonable prices and experience the genuine local atmosphere.
We also loved the wonderful terrace upstairs, which was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
A special thank you to Maria for her warm hospitality and for making our stay so comfortable. We would happily stay at Casa Urbaldo again and highly recommend it!
