Beautiful location on the riverfront, with easy access to river walks and trails, with its rich birdlife as well as the pub and bakery. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the toiletries were of good quality, and the host also provided extra touches such as complimentary coffee pods, chocolate and a gift voucher to use at a local shop. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if like us, you want to bring along your pet dog.
The accommodation is quite basic in some ways and a bit small and cramped. It was fine for us as a couple with a dog but may not be for a big family. Also, it was a bit difficult to access the entrance which faces the river, from behind where we parked our car, because I had luggage with wheels which dragged on the gravel.
