Ich hatte das Zimmer oben.
Es hat eine schönen großen Balkon.
Innen überraschenderweise Spannteppich.
Das Zimmer ist auch geräumig und gemütlich.

1. The location is excellent, right in front of Gili Air’s north beach, making it very convenient to access.
2. The price is relatively affordable compared to nearby accommodations.
3. The staff who manage the property are very friendly and left a strong impression.
4. I was traveling alone and stayed for a week in a ground-floor unit. During that time, it was very quiet and comfortable, and I was able to enjoy a private space (until guests stayed on the second floor).
1. It was very difficult to communicate with the property owner during my stay.
(I had to ask the cleaning staff for help to find the owner. With their help, I also found a nearby family-run laundry and received assistance with cleaning the room. I also checked out through them.)
2. Because the island is remote, the internet connection was very poor.
(It was very slow and often unstable. On the day before check-out, the internet stopped working completely.)
3. There is no refrigerator in the room, so it is not possible to store water or food. Especially for breakfast, you need to buy food outside or eat takeout quickly.
4. In the ground-floor room, you can clearly hear movement from the second floor when there are guests above. (Likewise, my movements were likely heard by the guests upstairs.)

Fantastic location on the north side of the island, probably a minute walk from the beach. The natural light from all the windows was great and meant we didn't need to use a lot of the lighting until the evening. But the curtains gave so much privacy. The deck, room, and bathroom were spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. There was a locker and safe available as well which was helpful for organization. The whole structure was very sound and seemed to be intentional and well built. Because of the location, we were able to see a lot of animals outside
These are all my personal experiences so other people might not view them the same. Communication with the host was a bit tricky and since they were on Lombok when we got there the initial issues we had took some time to be alleviated. This might have been because it was around the end of Ramadan and locals visit their families a lot, so this might not be an issue moving forward. The windows slid and had larger gaps around them so we noticed some extra critters would find their way in to the room. I would recommend a bug net for the bed. Unsure of the situation of who the host is, but it seemed like it hadn't been looked at or cleaned in a while because we noticed things like spider nests in the curtains, dead bugs on the floor and on the bed, and the bathroom also looked like it was in need of attention. The bungalow had really good bones and I know it can be a solid location for people to stay. I just hope these things can be taken into consideration.
