The keys were easy to get once we discovered the right key safe.
We were lucky to have the ground floor apartment so there were no stairs.
The shower took ages for the hot water to come through but then could get very hot very suddenly. If you were under the waterfall shower you could get scalded.
We are able bodied but we weren’t advised about the steep steps to get to the front door.

Water was either boiling hot or freezing cold so difficult to shower- building- wide issue?

Location is about 15 mins walk from the centre of Eastbourne. The apartment is well equipped, well kept, and beautifully furnished. Access to a washing machine was appreciated! The room was quiet - the street has virtually no traffic at all! Communication with the host was smooth and efficient and check in and out was super easy.
We visited in the heat of summer, so having a fan or two might have helped keep the room a little cooler
