The room was great for its cheap price, with central location near the beach. It is a simple room with a private bathroom in an apartment complex. My bus from Tirana was severely delayed, but the host was very accommodating and met me late at night to give me the key. It was also a plus that towels and bed linens were included, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
NOISE: Lacked soundproofing; neighbor conversations and plumbing were very loud.
LIGHT: The door let in a lot of bright hallway light 24/7, keeping the room lit at night (see photo).
OUTLETS: Very few outlets; one seemed unsafe, one was shared by the TV and fridge and only one was free for charging devices.
INFORMATION: Lacked info on the wifi, AC, hot water, and check-in/out procedures.
CLEANLINESS: Poor cleaning; the drawers and other areas where dirty, a hair on my pillow.
MISSING SAFE: No safe in the room, despite being listed in the booking description.
PAYMENT: Pay in euros—the host gave a poor exchange rate for local currency.
