The private peacefulness was fantastic, we had everything we needed. The washing machine was a bonus🥳. We had a line to get our clothes dry. 5 min walk down the hill to town & buses to the city.

Had everything I needed. Hot shower. Warm bed. Good, basic kitchen facilities. WiFi. Good comms with the rental manager.
Driveway was steep. Getting in and out of driveway a challenge if you're not a good driver.

Great location just a few mins to the ferry and a wonderful spot to rest your head with a lovely comfy bed and quiet neighbourhood.

location wise was good in terms of being accessible to where i needed to go eg. public transport into the city , the gig i had was in otaki so was easy for my carpooler to pick me up from on the way. i liked that we had the space to ourselves :) it’s also close to ammenities in johnsonville
the studio was underneath i’m assuming a family home so there was lots going on upstairs which is fair, you should be able to still live your life if you’re renting out part of your home to some strangers :) the hob for the kitchen wasn’t easy to navigate and/or didn’t work so that limited the meals we were able to cook, kettle took a long time to heat water up hahaha
there was a hole in the ceiling leading up to the bathroom and what i’m assuming mold surround this hole
checking ourselves in at first was not the easiest - had to call the host for instructions to get to the studio but to be fair we were checking in at 6:30pm during winter so was hard to see since it was pitch black
parking wise is on street parking - i did see there could have been an opportunity to have 1 parking spot available to guests down the drive but there could have been a reason this was not available to guests.
