Wasn’t worth the money we payed for

The location was perfect

Where do you start. The carpets were coming up off the floor so you trip over them all the time, the splash barrier for shower in the main bathroom was hanging off so we didn’t use that just in case it fell off, no fob to get into the bin area, the towels were left wet in n the washing machine. When we got there I had to ring the tenant twice to get the code for the door and at this point they were very rude and an hour past the time we were supposed to check in.

Unacceptable cancellation and business practice

What a nightmare- the owner never answered our phone call upon arrival on check in date. Booking.com sent us email many hours later at 8:00 pm that owner canceled our booking - without any reason. So last minute we had to find a place to stay with no help from Booking.com- This will be the last time I will use Booking.com - unacceptable!!!! Don’t want to feel homeless during your vacation- stay away from booking at Booking.com

What kind of business is this - full payment was made, last minute cancellation by owner, no regulatory oversight from Booking.com , no compensation or recourse. You will not get any help in the middle of no where… renters beware !!!!

We had no contact from the host. We arrived in Southampton to find out basically was a scam and we had no where to stay, we tried to contact but they would not respond
