I was fortunate enough to get the room with a private restroom. Comfortable stay and kept clean.
Staff can be hard to find sometimes but normally waiting a short time is enough for them to come back. I imagine they get quite busy.

The location was good. Bed was comfortable. Fan worked well to keep me cool
The customer service was essentially non-existent. For check in, I waited 10 minutes at the front desk, called and texted both numbers for the hotel and I wasn’t able to check in for another 35 minutes as no staff were around. I had to WhatsApp to ask for toilet paper (which I didn’t get) and book a tour through Get Your Guide as there was never anyone at the front desk. I would say out of the 20 times I came and went from the hotel, there was someone at the desk about three times.
They cancelled the 100 waterfall tour I had booked at 8pm the night before. I understand this was because there was only me that had booked the tour and I did get a refund, but it would have been better if they had told me earlier in the day so I could have rebooked with someone else.
The room itself was fine. The bathroom sink drains directly onto the floor so even if you are just washing your hands, your feet get wet. Also there is no glass in the windows, just solid wooden shutters, so I had to keep them shut all the time because of bugs and it meant no sunlight.
Do not use the communal toilet downstairs in the lobby area - it was very, very unclean.
