Take this warning seriously, as the property is located on a gravel road that, although short, contains a steep section in the last 50ft. There is a lower parking area that avoids this last section if needed. Please plan on checking in before dark. Refunds for cancellations due to weather conditions are not offered, so please be aware of these factors and prepare accordingly before booking your stay.
Please note this is a true mountain property with a gravel driveway and a steeper final section. AWD/4WD is strongly recommended year-round and highly advised November–April or during wet/snowy weather. A lower parking area is available if needed. Please arrive before dark when possible.

When you drive straight up a hill to get to a home, you know the view will be exceptional and it was! We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the views, and the singing of the birds. We saw a few eagles flying around as well.This home was a perfect location for our first trip to Shenandoah National Park. The home is secluded but close enough to town for whatever you need.Prena, the host is exceptional as well. She has really put a lot of thought into making your stay perfect. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking oil, seasonings, and coffee (fresh ground)! In the bathroom is a basket of thoughtfulness in case you may have forgotten something. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The hot tub is great for relaxing those muscles after a hike.We have stayed at many cabins in the mountains and Prena has gone above and beyond! We highly recommend this home and thank Prena and family for sharing.

This was a beautiful place. The views were amazing! The hot tub and fire pit area were great! Prena was very responsive any time we had a question or needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place!
