Very friendly and responsive staff, convenient location, parking. Rooms are pretty basic, which is reflected in price, but clean and tidy. Well working A/C. There's a lounge area downstairs with seating places, hammocks, and a kitchen.
Perhaps a nice to have would be a reading light by the bed, more hooks to hang wet towels, etc.

Schönes, helles, sauberes Zimmer. Gute, ruhige Lage, keine Beschallung von lauten Parties um einen herum. Italiener und Tante Emma Laden für den täglichen Bedarf vorne im Haus. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal: Als wir nach Panama-Stadt zurückkehren und den lokalen Bus über Sona morgens um 6 Uhr nehmen mussten, sagte die Chefin, sie würde mit uns vor dem Hotel warten, eine Viertelstunde früher um viertel vor sechs Uhr, manchmal würden die Busse nämlich früher kommen oder vorbeifahren. Und sie winkte ihm, als er kam.
Dass der Sand am Strand schwarz war.

Close and easy access to the beach, good surrounding, you can take an outside shower even after your check out time (very helpful after Coiba trip if you are heading forward same day), nice owner, shared kitchen downstairs, free parking
A bit basic and humid (could be fixed with air con and opening window). A bit small fridge (and generally the room)
