It was a beautiful hotel, having been expertly converted from an old police station. The architect had skilfully blended modern style from the building whilst retaining important features of the lovely architecture. The restaurant was created from the space between two buildings with a glazed roof at high level and set with lovely planters. Our room was small but it made up for it by the way it had been designed - concealed lighting and a feature wall showing the original brickwork.
We arrived on a Sunday and perhaps that was the reason that half the menu was not available. The main downside was the lack of parking. We had to park in a multi-storey, 10 mins walk away.

The hotel was centrally located and in a very beautiful old building. It was gorgeous!
There were no instructions on how to use the lighting and the heating/cooling in the room. All the lights were on relay switches so if you wanted to turn a light off, all the lights would come on instead.
