Location is great. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were good and friendly and helpful

The lounge area could do with a couple of lamps so you don’t have to always have the very bright overhead lights on all the time

We were a self catering apartment with everything provided to a high standard; the cleanliness was excellent and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

Room 5 is light and bright, well appointed and comfortable. The air conditioning works well and is quite quiet with a low fan speed. Check-in and check-out is simple and easy. Car parking is excellent. Room 5 is on the ground floor and looks out onto a slow moving traffic city road. The windows have good internal wooden window shutters which much attenuate the low level traffic noise. The windows have both gauze curtains and blinds. The road is very quiet at night. Poets 24 is very close to the magnificent Cathedral, a very popular Turkish restaurant and within easy walking distance of a popular riverside pub (downhill to the river, return uphill for a good night's rest). Excellent accommodation in a historic city centre.
