This property has everything you need.
The unit has been tastefully decorated.
Lovely view of pohutakawa trees and the Basin Reserve.
Great location - close walking distance to town (25mins), the hospital (15mins), the supermarket (10mins), the museum (20mins), and the harbour (15mins).
Great shower pressure.
It feels very safe.
The Queen-size bed is lovely and comfortable.

If this unit had air conditioning to control the heat, and they fixed the noisy bedroom windows, had a comfy couch, and put in blackout blinds, it would be a perfect 10/10.
The unit is incredibly hot (to the point where you have to have the windows open all day because of the heat but this makes it extremely noisy because it's next to an incredibly busy 4-laned road that wraps around the Basin Reserve) and it's only the beginning of spring.
There's no air conditioning so it will be impossibly hot in summer.
The blinds have gaps between them which makes it very light at night (it needs blackout blinds or curtains).
When it's windy the unit is really noisy and this made it hard to sleep - the glass in the bedroom windows makes whistling noises and they pop as if they've popped open. Even the hallway has a whooshing sound that comes through the entrance door.
The couch is really uncomfortable because of the weird angle of the back of it (it's a sofa bed).
The bed pillows need protective pillow slips not pillow cases that are sown onto them as they can't be washed and one of them is really stained.
An instruction book would be really helpful - to state where the power switches are for the oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave etc, and how to use the oven (it doesn't work just by using the knobs).
