A nightmare in KZN

The house has sufficient space for a big family.

This accommodation is nothing short of a deplorable hell hole and should never be allowed to host paying guests. What we endured can only be described as a nightmarish, unhygienic, and utterly disgraceful experience. From the moment we arrived, the house exuded neglect, filth, and an unsettling, almost sinister atmosphere. We were a family of eight, including young children, and subjecting a family to such conditions is completely unacceptable. The kitchen was a health hazard. It was poorly lit, with only two downlights functioning, leaving the area dark and unusable. At night, cockroaches emerged in force and completely overran the kitchen. The grocery cupboard was filthy and unhygienic, making it unsafe to store food. Although a four-plate gas stove was present, we were instructed to only use a two-plate stove, further highlighting the lack of basic functionality. There was also an unacceptable absence of proper cutlery and cookware, rendering even the most basic meal preparation a struggle. The bathrooms were revolting. The showers were visibly dirty and contained red worms—an appalling and disturbing discovery. One morning, we were met with no hot water and forced to bathe in cold water. There were no tissues provided in the bathrooms, further underscoring the complete disregard for basic guest comfort and hygiene. One bedroom emitted a toxic, sewer-like stench so overpowering that it made one of our group physically ill. The conditions were so intolerable that we were forced to abandon the bedrooms altogether. That night, the entire family—including children—slept on the dining room floor, as it was the lesser of two evils. As if the above were not enough, the property was plagued by relentless frog noise throughout the night. There is no covered parking, and the entire property is in a state of severe neglect. The house feels unsafe, unmaintained, and completely unfit for human occupation.

Lovely place to be

The area was safe, and the place was clean, and the staff was treating us well too well. Now they made us want to visit again as well as the pool was nice too

The noise of people who's stays on top of us but nonetheless the guesthouse was expectionally good thanks

7 / 10

Everything was perfect especially with the price I paid , just minor things that needs attention.

The place is safe and closer to the shops

The beds were not comfortable, oven not working, we ran out of hot water in the morning.
