Excellent service and food, Very fresh, regional ingredients. Good,traditional cuisine with generous portions. At Hotel Central, you get a lot for your money. Top value for money. Great location, very central. Not a flashy, overpriced hotel. Charming, simple, high-quality.
Very well-equipped, high-quality rooms, modernly furnished. The beds were very comfortable. My friends and I had booked one night through Booking.com and were actually about to leave, but the value for money pleasantly surprised us, so we booked two more nights directly with the hotel. We wanted to stay three more days, but the hotel was already fully booked. Therefore, we only stayed three nights instead of six. We as a couple, stayed in a double room, and our friend in the single room.The room was spotlessly clean.
I am 1.84 m tall, and even with the not so high ceiling,I felt very comfortable in this traditional Swiss mountain hotel. I often hike in Glarus South and have spent considerably more money there for significantly less comfort in hostels that call themselves hotels but don't even have a private bathroom or shower in the room; you have to share them with strangers. That's not really my thing. Very friendly and courteous staff.The beds are 2 meters long, perfect and very comfortable for sleeping.The terrace was wonderful for having a quiet dinner, relaxing and enjoying nature in this small, charming town. It's a small hotel with only three rooms. I can recommend it to anyone who prefers quiet peace and individuality to mass tourism. A charming, traditional Swiss mountain hotel. We'd love to come back! 😘👍🏽
Since we didn't have to pay too much per night for the rooms, we used that money for dinner. Everything was great. We'll be back in January when the ski season starts! 👏🏽💯

Separater Aufenthaltsraum mit Mikrowelle, Betten recht bequem, großes Bad, E-Mail-Kontakt und einchecken lief problemlos, gutes WLAN
Niedrige Deckenhöhe (bei 170 cm konnte ich den Duschkopf nur sehr knapp über meinen Kopf halten, ohne die Knie zu beugen), sehr steile Treppe & unsensible Bewegungsmelder (wir standen mehrfach im Stockdunklen), direkt an der Straße (aber das wussten wir ja)

Extremely low ceilings, light fixture dangling on the cord from the ceiling, not properly mounted. Same for towel hangers in the bathroom - take the towel off, and the hanger falls off the wall. To me - there's no maintenance/repairs at this place.
