Very pretty venue, really nicely designed and very thought out in terms of everything they do and use.
The staff in particular were the highlight for me. All very kind, considerate and even had a few jokes with us.
It was really well received as the weather was super wet and challenging
Genuinely not a criticism their end I just don’t eat a lot of fish and the food was predominantly fish so my bad for not making it clear but I did try it all. Was beautifully made and presented

Very clean, spacious and stylish. The private onsen is fantastic! Also the staff is exceptionally helpful, nice and friendly. The helped us reserving dinner and getting us a taxi when uber wasn’t responding.

There’s many wow factors about this place. Lobby, staff, room, private outdoor onsen and breakfast are perfect. Love that the TV can allow you to access YouTube and Netflix too. The small details in the design of the place is very nice too. I would recommend this place to my closed ones and friends. Thank you!
Location is not very centralised, it’s away from most places of interest. Pillow is a little soft for us but this is very subjective to individual. Would be good if hotel can provide body lotion too.

We appreciated having a private onsen. The bed was very comfortable.
Location: very far away from everything in Hakone
Car Service: Unlike other hotels, car service is available one way and we were supposed to figure out a way back on our own.
Onsen: We were on the first floor, there was no light, there was water dripping everywhere from the ceiling over the onsen, the onsen was quite shallow.
Restaurant: When we arrived they told us that we could not have dinner in the hotel without reservation even as hotel guests. They don’t provide room service either.
Staff: 2 hours before our train in Odawara, there was no taxi willing to come to the hotel.. the staff could not provide a solution, advice or any help. They refused to help us by driving us with the hotel car(we were willing to pay), could not organise a taxi and left us at Gora to figure it out on our own.
For the price we paid we were sorely disappointed 😕
